Evacuation announced of students from Assam stranded in Rongpo and Majitar areas

About 160 students from Assam are stranded in Sikkim’s Rongpo and Majitar areas.

GUWAHATI: About 160 students from Assam are stranded in Sikkim’s Rongpo and Majitar areas. To oversee the evacuation of these students, the Assam Government has sent two senior officers to Sikkim.
