Supplementary demands placed on the first day of autumn session of Assam Assembly

GUWAHATI: On the first day of the autumn session of the Assam Assembly today, State Finance Minister Ajanta Neog placed supplementary demands for grants for 2022-23 (additional budget) of Rs 6,94,494.27 lakh. A total of 15 bills of various government departments were introduced in the House today. These included two new bills – the Assam Aerial Ropeway Bill, 2022 and the Assam Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority Bill, 2022.
