Two superintendents of police transferred; four ‘reserve closed’

GUWAHATI: The State Government transferred two superintendents of police (SPs) and ‘reserve closed’ four other police officials in connection with the road accident of SI Junmoni Rabha.

Nagaon SP Leena Doloi has been transferred and posted to Hailakandi as SP, and Hailakandi SP Nabaneet Mahanta has been posted as Nagaon SP. Lakhimpur SP Bedanta Madhab Rajkhowa has been transferred and posted as AIG (Sports), and AIG (Sports) Ananda Mishra has been posted as Lakhimpur SP.

According to sources, Nagaon ASP Rupjyoti Kalita, Nagaon OC Manoj Rajbongshi, North Lakhimpur OC Bhaskar Kalita, and Naoboicha I/C Sanjib Bora have been ‘reserve closed’ to the headquarters. According to sources, the move has been taken for a smooth investigation of the SI Junmoni Rabha accident case.
