Udalguri police seized 31 kgs of explosives from Uttar Naobandha area

UDALGURI: The Udalguri police unearthed 31 kgs of explosives from Uttar Naobandha area in Anadabazar under Dimakuchi Police Station at around at 2 am on Tuesday.

The explosives are suspected to be high explosive TNT (a pale yellow, solid organic nitrogen compound used as explosive).

The explosives were kept in two buckets and were wrapped with plastic. The information was shared via Twitter by Assam's Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) GP Singh. He tweeted, "On 03.11.20 at about 2 am, Udalguri police unearthed 31 KGs of explosive in two buckets wrapped with plastic from Uttar Naobandha, Anadabazar under Dimakuchi PS. Suspected to be high explosive TNT." (Agencies)
