Union Budget: Increased allocation for Northeast infrastructure

GUWAHATI: The Northeast has something to cheer in the Union Budget announced on Wednesday. The North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS) has an increased allocation of Rs 2,491 crore against Rs 1,419 crore in the 2022-23 Budget.
