Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Guwahati on May 9

GUWAHATI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Guwahati on May 9 on a two-day visit. The Home Minister will chair a meeting with BSF officials on the first day and later inaugurate the Super Speciality Unit of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. On May 10, on behalf of President Ram Nath Kovind, Shah will confer the President's Colour Medal to the Assam Police at a function here. Later, he will be the chief guest at a public event to commemorate the first anniversary of the Himanta Biswa Sarma Ministry.
