KALAIGAON: "Vote for development and the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party)," urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing a huge rally in support of BJP candidate Madhuram Deka for the Kalaigaon LAC (Legislative Assembly Constituency) in Udalguri district on Wednesday.
Lauding Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on good governance in Assam during the last five years, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underlined Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to bring about rapid growth and development across the nation. He added that the government has been working to ensure equal development, equal dignity and equal opportunity to all sections of the society across the country. He further assured of keeping alive the socio-cultural identity and rich heritage of each community residing in the State if the masses vote the BJP to power once again.
Addressing the gathering, MP (Lok Sabha) from Mangaldoi Dilip Kumar Saikia assured the masses that a college will be opened at Kalaigaon for higher education if the BJP is voted to power again. He also urged the people to secure their right to live with dignity and equality by voting for the saffron party. "We want a unified platform where every community can march ahead. We assure inclusive growth and development."
The meeting started with lighting of lamp by the president of Udalguri BJP Kartik Chandra Baro in the presence of BTC (Bodoland Territorial Council) Executive Member Diganta Barua and the party's candidate for Kalaigaon LAC, Madhuram Deka.
