Will advertise for 22,000 posts in September: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said today that the State Government would advertise for the filling up of 22,000 government posts in September.

He said that the government has already appointed many candidates and is going to advertise for the filling of 22,000 posts next month. “If the need arises, we will advertise for more posts. The recent recruitment drive has left some of the departments unable to provide chairs for the new employees to sit on. Now, we need to increase the number of posts for ACS officers. I did say that every year we would provide 20,000–30,000 government jobs”.
