Gogoi's health improves

GUWAHATI: The health of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is much better than before. From non-invasive ventilation, now he's in the ICU (intensive care unit) at the GMCH (Gauhati Medical College and Hospital).

From the ICU he addressed the media and said, "Media friends, I'm talking to you after a long time. Now on I want to move forward to work as a social worker. Without the blessings of people and God it would have not been possible. I hope the people of Assam will continue to love me. The residents of Titabor and Golaghat always love me. "I continue to get love and affection from the youth, students, planters, tea workers, farmers, small traders… I'll go ahead with this maxim."

Tarun Gogoi was admitted to the GMCH for the second time on Sunday last when his oxygen level dropped all of a sudden. He was kept in non-invasive ventilation. Now he's in the ICU. Earlier, he was released from the GMCH after his recovery from COVID-19 on October 25, 2020.
