All Religion Prayer Meet in Jorhat for Tarun Gogoi

An all religion prayer meeting was held in Jorhat to pray for the speedy recovering of ailing former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi. The three-time Chief Minister is undergoing treatment at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital after he was rushed to the ICU of GMCH on Sunday night after the veteran Congress leader complained of restlessness. The 86-year leader had tested positive for COVID and was admitted to GMCH on August 26 and was discharge from the hospital just last month. Gogoi has co-morbid conditions and the Assam government had formed a team of senior doctors to monitor his health. The team was monitoring his health even when he was home after being released from the hospital.

According to GMCH doctors, Gogoi is now out of danger and stable but still in ICU.
