Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation distributed free poultry to over 200 farmers

Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation (ALPCo) on Wednesday distributed free poultry among over two hundred farmers in a program held at the Khanapara office of the corporation. Atul Bora, the Minister for Agriculture and Veterinary in the Cabinet of Assam Government was present at the program. With the aim to strengthen the rural economy and to and making rural farmers self-reliant Minister Atul Bora distributed free Poultry among the trained farmers of the Livestock Corporation. Noteworthy is that since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation has taken up a program called "Potharo Amara Bazaro Amar" (Both the field and the market belongs to us) to strengthen the rural economy.
