Bail for Akhil Gogoi in 3 Cases, 2 More Cases to Go

The Gauhati High Court has granted bail to RTI activist and farmers' organisation Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) leader Akhil Gogoi in 3 cases. Gogoi was granted bail for the cases lodged against him in Chabua police station. Gogoi has to get bail in two more cases and he will be a free man. Gogoi is undergoing COVID treatment at the Guwahati Medical College and Hopital. He was arrested in December, 2019 on charges of sedition and instigation violence during anti-CAA agitation in Assam.
