BJP's Cleanliness Drive in Guwahati Schools as part of Sewa Saptah

BJP workers today visited TC Girls High School and conducted a cleaning exercise as part of the Sewa Saptah (Service week) being organized to celebrate 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The workers who belong to the Kisan Morcha or Farmers' wing of BJP were seen brooming and cleaning the corridors and the courtyard of the school. The cleaning happened just days ahead of schools re-opening. Assam schools would re-open from Monday, September 21. Students of classes IX-XII are being allowed to attend classes as per a roster released by the state education department. But the students can attend school only if they have a written consent from their parents or guardian.
