Water Inside Peoples' Homes in Guwahati City; What is the Administration Doing?

This is pathetic, to say the least. These visuals are from prime localities of Guwahati. This house where you see kids playing on the bed and TV playing in the background is from a house behind Downtown Hospital just off the main GS Road. The water that you see inside the house is because of water logging. Guwahati has been witnessing rains in the past few days. Clogged drains have resulted in water logging on the roads and water inside peoples' houses in various localities of the city. It's time the Guwahati Municipal Corporation and the district administration pull up their socks and fix these things. We know the machinery is busy fighting Corona but the authorities cannot ignore these basic things.
