As per some reports, Suga from BTS is a huge fan of Paulo Coelho. In 2020, internationally bestselling author Paulo Coelho tweeted that he has given signed copies of his book 'The Alchemist' to BTS members.

'Almond' by Sohn Won Pyung

In 2020, both PM and Suga from BTS read Sohn Won Pyung's YA novel 'Almond' while shooting the program 'BTS in the Soop'. The story follows Yunjae who is born with a condition called Alexithymia because of which he doesn't feel emotions like other people. This is a story of how love and friendship can transform people.

‘The Courage To Be Disliked' by Ichiro Kishimi, Fumitake Koga

Suga was seen reading 'The Courage To Be Disliked' by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga in 'In the Soop' Season 2. In this book, the authors discuss 19th-century psychologist Alfred Adler's theories and share that one can change their future by being free from their past experiences and boundaries they set on themselves.

'Kitchen' by Banana Yoshimoto

According to reports, Suga liked reading Japanese author Banana Yoshimoto's 'Kitchen'. 'Kitchen' juxtaposes two tales about mothers, transsexuality, bereavement, kitchens, love and tragedy in contemporary Japan;' reads the book's blurb.

'Slam Dunk' by Takehiko Inoue

According to reports, Suga also likes reading Takehiko Inoue's manga, 'Slam Dunk'. The book centers around basketball.

‘Reinventing Your Life’ by Jefferey Young and Janet Klosko

It's noted that Suga was seen walking out of Bang Bang Con in 2020 with the Korean version of this book. 'Reinventing Your Life' is about 11 cognitive therapy principles to help people identify and change their mindset from negativity.

'Life Lessons' by Elisabeth Kubler Ross

BTS' Suga has also recommended 'Life Lessons' by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Published in 2000, the book is about how human beings face death and in the process, learn about the true meaning of life.

'Interpretation of Dreams' by Sigmund Freud

As per reports, Suga shared in the Vlive that he has read 'General Introduction to Psychoanalysis' by Sigmund Freud. In this work, Freud proposes the idea that dreams are our mind's "unconscious wishes".
